She completed her Family Practice residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, before pursuing a Geriatric fellowship from the University Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio. Her family has recently moved from Kentucky, where she was practicing at Morehead. She is board cerified in both Family Practice and Geriatric medicine. Dr. Kong-Sibal is married to Dr. Jose Sibal, a nephrologist, and they have three children, Julian, Jason, and Jessica.
